Terms of Service

Last updated October 9, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you, the business using Onda, and Onda ("we"). By signing up or using the service, you agree to them.

What Onda does

Onda is a managed AI front desk. It answers calls that forward to your Onda line, takes the caller's name, need and details, and sends them to you by email. On the Onda Plus plan, it also prepares replies to email inquiries. Our team sets up, tunes and manages the service for you.

You stay in control. Onda takes requests and passes them to you. You confirm every booking, price and arrival time with your customer.

What callers are told

Every call opens with a greeting that says the caller is speaking with an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded. This notice is part of the service and cannot be removed.

By using Onda, you agree that calls to your Onda line are recorded and processed by AI. We provide the notice above on every call. You are responsible for any other notice or consent that the law requires for your business or your location.

Plans, setup and trial

Minutes

Your plan's minutes start on day 1 of your trial. They do not start over on day 8. They start over one month after your first monthly payment, and then on the same date each month. Example: if you enter your card on October 10, your first monthly payment is on October 17 and your minutes start over on November 17.

We do not bill per minute. We email you when you reach 80% and 100% of your plan's minutes. When your minutes run out, we add 100 minutes for $29 so Onda keeps answering, and we email you each time we add them. Each $29 is added to your next monthly bill. Added minutes can be used until your minutes next start over, and they do not carry over. If you would rather have a standard voicemail take messages when your minutes run out, email us and we will set that up instead. Your plan price never changes without notice.

To keep the line working for real callers, a single call may be limited to 8 minutes. If usage is far above your plan, or looks like spam or misuse, we may pause the line. Where we can, we will tell you first.

Setup and changes

After you sign up, we email you a setup form. Your answers become your shop notes: your greeting, your hours, up to 15 services, up to 10 common questions with short answers, and a short list of things Onda should not say. Before your calls begin forwarding, you can ask for corrections up to two times.

After that, changes inside the form are free when you send them to us by email. Fixing our own mistakes is free. Work beyond the form, such as more fields, a new call flow or another location, is custom work. We quote it before we start.

Promo codes

If you enter a valid promo code when you sign up, you receive the benefits described in the offer where you got the code, for the period stated there. One code applies per account. We may close a code to new signups at any time. Accounts that signed up with the code keep its benefits for the stated period.

Features in development

Features our website marks as in development are not part of the service until we tell you they are live.

Cancelling

There is no annual contract. You can cancel at any time online at callonda.com/cancel. Enter the email you pay with, and our payment processor, Stripe, emails you a code to sign in and cancel. You can also email support@callonda.com and we will cancel it for you. If you cancel before day 8 of your trial, you pay no monthly fee, and service continues to the end of the trial. If you cancel later, service continues to the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not refund partial months.

Price changes

If we change the price of your plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. You can cancel before then.

Your data

The information your callers give, and the leads and records made from it, belong to you. We handle them only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you leave, you can ask for a copy of your lead records before we delete them.

Your part

What Onda is not

Onda is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for 911. It is not designed for medical practices or for handling health records. It does not give legal, medical or financial advice.

Reliability

We work to answer every forwarded call, but phone networks, carriers and software can fail. We do not guarantee that every call will be answered or that every detail will be captured correctly.

Onda uses AI, and AI can mishear or misunderstand. Review each lead before you act on it. You are responsible for decisions you make based on it.

The service depends on phone carriers, call forwarding and other providers we do not control. We are not responsible for their outages or errors. Apart from what these terms promise, the service is provided as is.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Onda is not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Pausing or ending service

If a monthly payment does not go through, you get an email with a link to update your card, and the payment is tried again over the next 2 weeks. Onda keeps answering your calls during that time. If the payment still has not gone through after 2 weeks, your service ends.

We may also pause or end your service if it is used in a way that breaks these terms or the law. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Claims about your business

If someone makes a claim against Onda because of how your business operates, what your business told us to say, or your misuse of the service, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will email you about changes that matter. These terms are governed by the laws of California. Questions go to support@callonda.com.
