  1. OndaHi, thanks for calling Summit Auto Repair. I'm the shop's AI assistant, and this call may be recorded. What can we help you with today?

The clip is shortened: pauses before the caller's replies were trimmed. Onda's replies keep their real timing. Names are made up.

The details you need for the job.

Our demo shop asks for these. Your setup form decides your own questions.

  • What's going on with the car
  • The car's year, make and model
  • Whether it's safe to drive, or needs a tow
  • When they can bring it in
  • Their name and a number to call back

Before it saves the call, Onda reads the details back and asks the caller to confirm.

A car already at the shop. Onda doesn't guess what has been done or when it will be ready. It takes the question, and your team calls with an update.

Urgent calls stand out.

  • Urgent calls. A car that won't start or is stuck on the road, brakes or steering that feel wrong, overheating, or a request for today gets [Priority] in the subject line.
  • Danger. If a caller describes a danger, Onda tells them to call 911 first. Then it marks the call Priority and sends it to you right away.

Onda is a front desk, not an emergency service.

It takes the request. You set the price and the time.

  • It is set up not to quote repair prices or promise a time.
  • It is set up not to tell a caller to just come in or that a spot is open. Your team sets the time when you call back.
  • If a caller asks about a price, it says the team needs to look at the car first.
  • You add your own list of things it should not say, like what might be wrong with the car.
  • Callers are told they are speaking with an AI.

Callers who speak Spanish or Korean.

Spanish, Korean or another language, Onda switches automatically. Your lead email still arrives in English.
