How LA businesses can answer Spanish and Korean calls when no one is free

Los Angeles customers call in English, Spanish, Korean and many other languages. When the person who speaks that language is busy or off for the day, the call can stall.

The language gap on the phone

A caller who struggles to explain a problem in a second language may give up and call someone else. Keeping a bilingual person free on each shift is hard for a small business. Missed calls in another language are still jobs you could have had.

It answers in the caller's language

When a missed call forwards to Onda, the AI greets the caller. If the caller answers in Spanish or Korean, Onda continues in that language. It asks its questions one at a time and reads the details back so the caller can confirm them.

You can hear it for yourself: our site has a short Spanish call to a demo plumbing company and a Korean call to a demo salon, each with an English translation.

Your email arrives in the language you choose

The caller's language and your language don't have to match. At setup, you choose the language for your lead emails: English, Spanish or another language you prefer.

Example

A caller describes a leak under the sink in Spanish. The shop chose English, so the owner gets: Carlos · house · leak under the kitchen sink, still dripping · wants someone tomorrow morning.

When you call back, you know what the job is before you dial, or you can hand it to a team member who speaks the caller's language.

A note on accuracy

AI can mishear, especially names and addresses. That is why Onda reads the details back before saving, and why you should glance at each lead before you act on it.

Hear a sample call

A sample call in Korean to a demo hair salon

This shop chose English for its email.

In these sample calls, the caller is also an AI voice, on a real phone call. Clips are shortened: phone numbers and addresses were removed, and some pauses were trimmed. Names are made up.

Hear it before you decide

Call our demo plumbing company at (213) 451-5553. An AI answers, and the call may be recorded. The company is made up, so feel free to use a made-up name. Or listen to short sample calls on our site.

$199 a month. There is no monthly fee during the trial. One-time $99 setup. No annual contract.
